Golden Dome Stays

Questions, Answered

The things guests ask us most. If yours isn’t here, just ask us — we answer our own phone.

Arriving

How do we get into the house?

Every home has a keypad on the door — there's no key to pick up and nobody you need to meet. We email your personal door code a week before you arrive, and again the day before, so it's already in your inbox by the time you're on the road.

What if we get in late at night?

Not a problem. Check-in is self-serve at any hour, so a delayed flight or a long drive doesn't need a phone call. Your code works whenever you turn up.

Can we check in early or check out late?

Usually, yes — and there's no charge for it.

It comes down to whether anyone is in the house right before or after you, so just ask and we'll know straight away.

Where do we park?

Our homes do not have driveways, with the exception of the Carriage House — but there's plenty of street parking right around the homes.

Game weekends work the same way, with one piece of local advice: once you have a street spot on a Saturday, stay in it. Move your car and it'll be gone by the time you're back.

In the homes

What's in the kitchen when we arrive?

Everything you'd need to actually cook — cookware, utensils, and the everyday basics you'd otherwise be buying on your first afternoon.

Do you provide towels and linens?

Each home is stocked with an ample supply of luxury towels and linens — nothing to pack and nothing to rent.

Is there a washer and dryer?

Yes — in every house, with detergent provided.

Is there wifi?

Every home has it. The network and password are in the handbook inside the house, along with everything else you might need during your stay.

Game weekends

Is there a minimum stay for a home football weekend?

Two nights for a home football weekend. Graduation and commencement weekends require a four-night minimum.

How far ahead should we book a game weekend?

Further ahead than most people expect — our game weekends often go a year or more in advance.

If you know which game you want, book it as soon as the schedule is out rather than waiting to see how the season goes.

How far are the homes from the stadium?

All of them are under half a mile from campus — roughly a 10 to 15 minute walk to the stadium. Close enough that you can walk back afterwards instead of sitting in traffic.

House rules

Can we bring our dog?

Usually yes, but it needs to be requested and approved before your stay rather than sprung on us at the door. Tell us what you're bringing when you book and we'll confirm it for your specific home.

Can we have people over who aren't staying with us?

A few people is fine — friends stopping by before a game, family joining you for dinner.

Anything larger needs to be requested and approved first. We're not trying to police your weekend; we just need to know before a gathering happens, not after.

Can we smoke or vape?

No — not indoors, and not on the porch or in the yard either.

Booking and payment

How do we pay?

Venmo or Zelle. We'll send simple instructions once your dates are confirmed.

When is the balance due?

A 50% deposit holds your dates. The remaining balance is due 60 days before check-in.

Is there a security deposit or damage hold?

There's no separate deposit or card hold up front. That said, guests are responsible for any damage, abuse, or harm to the home that occurs during their stay — please treat the place with care.

What's your cancellation policy?

Graduation and commencement bookings must be cancelled at least one year before check-in to receive a refund. All other reservations must be cancelled at least 30 days before check-in for a full deposit refund; inside those windows the deposit is non-refundable.
